Spectrum 04: Choreographic Debuts by Emerging Artists at the Ballet of Opera Poznań

We are proud to support Spectrum 04, a choreographic development platform at the Teatr Wielki im. Stanisława Moniuszki w Poznaniu where ballet dancers become creators, developing and presenting their own original works from concept to stage.

The project brings together choreographers, dancers, and production teams in a fully collaborative process that includes choreography, costume and visual design, production, and communication. It offers emerging artists the opportunity to explore artistic authorship and build creative independence within a professional theatre environment.

The 2026 edition was met with strong audience interest, welcoming a total of 1,331 attendees across performances held on 27 and 28 February. In addition, 80 participants attended the preview meeting, and 5 journalists joined the press conference, reflecting growing attention to the project’s creative process and artistic outcomes.

Through its interdisciplinary approach, Spectrum 04 continues to foster the development of new choreographic voices and highlights the evolving artistic practice within the ballet company.
